UCU members at the University of Liverpool need your help. As you may know, the university’s senior management is threatening to dismiss 2,803 staff and rehire them on inferior contracts.

Over 4000 of you have already signed a petition which calls on the university management to return to normal industrial relations – thank you! But as the branch moves towards balloting for action, we need more!

The issue was also covered in a recent edition of the Times Higher magazine, which carried a letter from 600 professors across the higher education sector condemning the University management for their actions. You can read thearticle here
